Thank you for your continued support of our Gobble Gobble Four Miler Thanksgiving event.

We continue to have a warm, friendly, non-intimidating family atmosphere and experience that people continue to enjoy year after year at Venetian Village. Your article captured that spirit in such a generous and genuine way.

It is my pleasure through the LLC I started to continue to give this community this event that benefits St. Matthew's House and the Go.

Through the event, the charities garner awareness and financial benefits that, despite its small size, has raised more than a race twice its size in 2013 and 2014. It is a labor of love, and it is no small task to assemble the wonderful team of community volunteers, loyal friends and family that give freely year after to keep this 15-year event such a blessing to those in need.

While we know people have a choice, we just concentrate on the folks that want to be at ours and we give them an experience that keeps them coming back as part of their annual festivities each year.

We don't need to have the most people, or the fastest finishers, though we have fast ones. It is about the location and custom of the Four Miler people love.

You can feel great knowing 100 percent goes back to the charities and that our expenses are kept to a minimum. Thank you to Naples in its absolute best moments of supporting a true homegrown community tradition in its purest sense.

The term "giant block party" was fantastic. It made such a magical start to our day setting the table for you in the wee hours so that everything was just right.
