What a wonderful night we had! Over 400 Collier County elementary students completed their 26.2 mile goal at Gulf Coast High School. Here are some of pictures of today's the Go! final mile run! The 400 students came from Big Cypress Elementary, Vineyards Elementary School, Osceola Elementary School, Estates Elementary School, Sabal Palm Elementary School, Pinecrest Elementary School, RCMA Immokalee Community School & Lake Trafford Elementary School. The “ the GO!” program was made possible in collaboration with the NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County, and thanks to sponsors like University of Florida/IFAS Collier County Extension and Whole Foods Market. The “ the GO!” program is an effort to increase physical activity and decrease the threat of obesity among kids.
